The Hotel La Comtesse is located on the left bank of the Seine, in the heart of the 7th arrondissement, one of the most prestigious districts of Paris. In the 18th century, duchesses, marquises, countesses and baronesses, all beautiful and elegant, held salons; curious and cultured, they helped, produced, published and made known the greatest writers, thinkers, composers, painters... of that time. They cultivated the art of conversation; avant-gardists before their time, they gave birth to the most revolutionary ideas, they made Paris.
The Countess's (very private) hotel is inspired by the lives of these women and the soul of this district marked by a profound taste for the Arts and Letters.
As in the 18th century, you can indulge in conversation and reading in the Café, a neo-boudoir inspired by literary salons with a beautiful library and a unique view of the Eiffel Tower.
In this Café, you will taste one of the best chocolates in Paris, served as it was done in the 18th century in a chocolatier. At that time, chocolate was a precious food reserved for the elites who adorned it with medicinal and aphrodisiac virtues!
